The Tiger is Gucci’s return to film, told through the unmistakable vision of Oscar winner Spike Jonze alongside Halina Reijn. Having premiered at Milan Fashion Week, the short dives into the chaos and control that sit behind polished family glamour. It features looks from La Famiglia, giving the collection a narrative backbone that is sharp, elegant and unafraid of tension.
The story centres on Barbara Gucci, Head of Gucci International and Chairman of California, as she hosts her children and a special guest for a birthday gathering. What begins as a meticulous celebration fractures as Barbara juggles reputation, maternal pressure and the private chaos simmering beneath the surface. When the night turns, her façade cracks and the family is forced to renegotiate their world.
The Tiger’s stellar cast includes Ed Harris, Demi Moore and Ed Norton
The cast is heavyweight. Demi Moore, Edward Norton, Ed Harris, Elliot Page, Keke Palmer, Alia Shawkat, Julianne Nicholson, Heather Lawless, Ronny Chieng, Kendall Jenner and Alex Consani carry the film’s mix of humour, ambition and emotional sharpness.
Looks from La Famiglia thread through the story, reinforcing the personas built into the collection. Sleek tailoring, sculptural outerwear, nocturnal Flora, head-to-toe monogram, the red Incazzata coat and the sultry power of La Bomba all heighten the film’s tension. The Tiger captures the House’s new mood: cinematic, self-aware and defiantly stylish.

The collection showcased in The Tiger arrives exclusively at Gucci Edinburgh from November 26th to December 5th at 13-15 Multrees Walk, New Town, Edinburgh, EH1 3DX. From November 26th to November 30th (10.00-18.00) guests will be welcomed with complimentary drinks and canapés, encouraging early visits and offering a refined in-store experience.
