When you imagine the ultimate date night, we think it would look a little something like this…

If you fancy a cosy night at the cinema, chilled glass of champagne in hand, then you’re going to love the new series of screenings with two of Scotland’s chicest cinemas, in collaboration with the 150th anniversary of Moët Impérial champagne.

When you think of the movies, you think of the most glamorous moments of the silver screen - and what’s glamour without a glass of champagne?

So, champagne lovers, rediscover the magic if the movies this spring, and as part of Moët & Chandon’s landmark anniversary year, head to The Screening Room at the Kimpton Blythswood Square in Glasgow, or The Scotsman Picturehouse in Edinburgh, to enjoy special screenings throughout February and March - accompanied by Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial, of course!

At the Blythswood, movie-goers will enjoy the hotel’s Moët & Movie programme, with films including The Greatest Showman, The Great Gatsby, Moulin Rouge and The Devil Wears Prada screening from 20th February-20th March. Tickets are priced at £15 per person, and include a mini Moët Rosé Impérial to enjoy during the movie. Plus, three new cinematic-themed cocktails have also been created by the Blythswood’s head bartender, which are ideal for enjoying during your elegant movie night: The Plot Twist, The Femme Fatale, and The Grand Finale (£12-£13), and the season will also see the launch of the glamorous Moët Rosé Afternoon Tea (£46.75 per person), a gorgeous way to spend a weekend afternoon.

Meanwhile, The Scotsman Picturehouse will launch the exclusive Moët Icon Series, a ten-week season of midweek screenings, and two new cocktails of their own, to enjoy in their plush boutique cinema room. Premiering on Sunday 15th March, the series kicks off with The Great Gatsby (for which Moët was the official champagne - hey, if it’s good enough for Leo…!) and continues every Wednesday from the 18th March for ten weeks, with tickets costing £19.95 per person. Plus, two cocktails have also been created at The Scotsman Picturehouse to celebrate the occasion: The Rising Star and The A-Lister, both priced at £11.95.
