Inside Maggie’s Boutique Edinburgh: The Fashion Pop-Up You’ll Want First Access To

A chance supper, an inspiring group of women, and a Maggie’s fundraiser set to become one of Edinburgh’s most anticipated fashion events of 2026.

Last week I attended the most gorgeous International Women’s Day dinner — billed as an evening of warmth and connection, and it truly delivered.

Organised by Georgia Noble in her Suppers Club hat, it was hosted in the beautiful home of the brilliantly talented (and utterly delightful) Sabrina Damiani of Damiani Fine Dining. From the canapés to the tiramisu, the food was Italian at its absolute best.

But what really made the evening was the table — filled with incredible women, each with stories that brought both tears and laughter. The very best kind of evening.

And the reason for the gathering? Something very special.

Best friend duo and deeply committed Maggie’s campaigners and ambassadors, Sarah Murray and Lisa Stephenson, are working on their latest fundraising event for Maggie’s — and if you’re a fashion lover, you’ll want to be in the loop before the finer details are even announced.

After organising a number of fashion lunches and events, Sarah and Lisa felt the format had become a little tired. They wanted to do something different. So, at the beginning of 2026, they set the wheels in motion and launched @maggiesboutiqueedinburgh.

Sarah, whose career has always been rooted in fashion, will be known to many as the woman behind Jane Davidson — the independent boutique that guided so many of us in their wardrobe choices over the years, bringing both established and emerging designers to Scotland.

Together, they asked a simple question:
Do you have clothes lurking in your wardrobe? Luxurious but unloved?

Because they want to liberate them — for Maggie’s.

Their aim is to raise vital funds for the charity that has been supporting people through cancer diagnosis and treatment since 1995.

With Sarah’s fashion contacts, knowledge and eye — and Lisa’s extraordinary fundraising tenacity (she has raised £1.6 million for Maggie’s to date) — they have been quietly curating donations since the January launch. The excitement around this pop-up is already tangible.

Both women also have personal experiences of cancer, and their passion for Maggie’s comes from a deep understanding of the support it offers throughout a cancer journey.

So, what do we know so far?

They have been overwhelmed with donations — and the quality is out of this world. Think Chanel, Roksanda, Isabel Marant, Stella McCartney. Many pieces are box-fresh, some even with original tags. Others are being carefully restored to their best by Sarah and Lisa.

The plan is to launch a city centre pop-up in Edinburgh this May — and trust me, you will want to be there.

The pricing? Remarkable.
A Stella McCartney dress originally £1000 — now £100.
A Roksanda dress, once £995 — now £150.
Isabel Marant clogs — from £385 to £60.
Those are just a few of the thousands of donations being sorted through and prices as I write.

Pricing will start from around £30–£40 for premium high street brands like Me+Em, rising for designer pieces — making this an unmissable opportunity.

And if you donate, you’ll gain VIP access.

So, if you have something hidden in your wardrobe that deserves a second life — and could help raise funds for an incredible cause — now is the moment.

Follow @maggiesboutiqueedinburgh for updates.

We guarantee you’ll want to be first through that door.
