IOLLA x Hood: The Winter Edit 2026

In Partnership with IOLLA

Nine frames chosen for winter

IOLLA has long been a brand we admire at Hood, so when we were invited to partner on the opening of the new Bruntsfield showroom, the brief was instinctive. As IOLLA wearers ourselves, we wanted to create an edit we would genuinely choose and actually wear.

Winter light in Scotland is particular. The sun sits low, cuts across your vision and disappears quickly. Early spring is no kinder. This is when eyewear earns its place.

Lens colour, clarity and comfort matter as much now as they do in high summer. Frames work harder too. They sit alongside coats, scarves and knitwear, becoming part of the outfit rather than an afterthought.

That thinking shaped the IOLLA x Hood Winter Edit. Nine frames chosen specifically for Scottish light, winter conditions and the months that follow.

Eyewear says more about you than almost any other accessory. Not loudly, but clearly. The right frames sharpen a look and make winter dressing feel intentional rather than incidental.

For this edit we prioritised warmth over harsh contrast, quality materials, softened structure and colour used with restraint. Every frame is flattering, wearable and designed to last well beyond one season.

Our model Moira wears each pair to show how they sit on the face. Context matters. Guests at the launch were then invited to try the edit themselves and explore the full showroom, with the Hood and IOLLA teams on hand to advise. The Winter Edit is a starting point, not a rule book.

The Frames
