Meet The Bag That Does It All
As Hood’s new London Ambassador, Anna Low needs a bag that can handle a laptop, a full day of appointments and the inevitable change of shoes. She may just have found it in Cambridge Satchel’s new East West Tote.
I'm a little bit in love with my new Cambridge Satchel East West Tote from the 'Risky Business AW26' collection. I've been searching for ages for the perfect 'girl about town' catch-all bag and am relieved to report I've finally found it!
Sleek and stylish, classic and classy, the East West Tote (mine is in black) ticks so many boxes for me. I've been seeking out something that's roomy enough to carry all my work essentials but polished enough to take me straight into any after-hours engagements; the perfect day-to-evening accessory.
Laptop, check, keys/wallet/phone, check, specs and sunnies, check, and rather sadly 'flatties for getting home' check. These ex-pro dancer feet now last a maximum of three hours in heels so if I'm out and about all day I definitely need some comfies with me to dash from A to B. Thankfully my ballet pumps snuggle up nicely to my computer and there's still room in there for a wee make-up bag for necessary afternoon touch-ups.
The shoulder strap is the perfect length for tucking everything neatly under my arm and, most importantly, when full, it's not too heavy and I can whizz around the city without feeling like I'm going to dislocate my shoulder. I absolutely love it.
The East West Tote also comes in Oxblood and Taupe, both timeless and chic.
