Sephora Finally Reveals Opening Dates for its First Scottish Stores
After months of anticipation, Sephora has finally confirmed when Scottish beauty lovers will be able to step inside its first-ever stores north of the border.
The global beauty giant is set to open its debut Scottish location at St James Quarter in Edinburgh on 9th July, followed by a second store at Silverburn in Glasgow on 13th August, marking a major milestone in the retailer's UK expansion.
For anyone who has spent years filling suitcases in Paris, New York or Dubai with Sephora hauls, the wait is almost over.
The new stores will bring some of the world's most sought-after beauty brands to Scotland for the very first time, including cult favourites rhode, Haus Labs, Makeup by Mario, Merit Beauty, INNBeauty Project, Tower 28 and Half Magic, alongside Sephora's own beauty collection and a host of other premium brands.
Sarah Boyd, Managing Director of Sephora UK, said: "We're incredibly excited to be opening our first stores in Scotland, giving beauty lovers access to some of the world's most sought-after brands and exclusive products for the very first time.
"We can't wait to welcome customers through our doors and celebrate what promises to be a true Sephora Summer."
More than just a beauty store
If Sephora's previous UK launches are anything to go by, these won't be ordinary store openings.
The retailer's arrivals have become something of an event in themselves, with entertainment, exclusive experiences, local food and curated queue-side surprises drawing beauty fans from across the country.
Inside, shoppers can expect personalised beauty consultations, gift-wrapping and engraving services, alongside immersive experiences designed to help customers discover new products and brands.
Both Scottish stores will also be among the first in the UK to feature Sephora's new Beauty Scan technology. Using an advanced skin analysis tool, Beauty Advisors can provide tailored recommendations based on hydration levels, oil balance and foundation shade matching.
Edinburgh first, Glasgow next
The Edinburgh store will open at St James Quarter on 9th July, adding another major name to the destination's growing beauty line-up.
Anne Ledgerwood, Estate Director at St James Quarter, said: "Welcoming Sephora's first Scottish store to St James Quarter is a landmark moment for the Quarter and for Edinburgh.
"Excitement is already building ahead of opening, and we're proud to be introducing Sephora to Scotland for the very first time."
Glasgow shoppers won't have to wait much longer, with the Silverburn store opening on 13th August.
Diarmuid Donohoe, Centre Manager at Silverburn, said: "This is a really exciting moment for beauty lovers in Glasgow and the west of Scotland.
"We know this is one our guests have been waiting for, and we can't wait to welcome them to the new Sephora store this summer."
The brands everyone is talking about
Alongside Sephora Collection, shoppers can expect access to some of the beauty industry's most in-demand names, including Rhode, Merit Beauty, Makeup by Mario, Haus Labs, Topicals, Tower 28 and INNBeauty Project.
The stores will also stock favourites including Rare Beauty, Glossier, Sol de Janeiro, VIEVE, Tatcha, Summer Fridays, Kayali, K18 and Gisou.
Customers will be able to continue their shopping experience through the Sephora UK app and MySephora loyalty programme, earning points on purchases both in-store and online for rewards, exclusive launches and special events.
Safe to say, Scotland's beauty lovers have a busy summer ahead.
