Set to Rimsky-Korsakov’s soaring score, performed live by the Scottish Ballet Orchestra, and brought to life with Lez Brotherston’s glittering, award-winning designs, The Snow Queen transforms Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale (the inspiration behind Frozen) into a breathtaking ballet that enchants both children and adults.

With more homegrown Scottish dancers taking centre stage than ever before, this year’s production promises an unforgettable night at one of Scotland’s most beautiful theatres.

  • To enter the competition, participants must answer the question and subscribe to our newsletter.

  • The prize is as stated - a pair of tickets to The Snow Queen at Glasgow’s Theatre Royal on a date from the 7th January 2025 to 17th January excluding January 15th.

  • The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the promotional period. The closing date of the competition is midnight on Sunday 21st December.

  • The winner will be notified via email within 24 hours of the closing date. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within seven days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

  • The winner will be contacted by a representative from Scottish Ballet.

  • Hood Digital reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control.
