A Taste Of Daylesford

One of Britain’s best known organic food and lifestyle brands has arrived in Edinburgh. For four days only, Gleneagles Townhouse is hosting Daylesford’s first Scottish pop-up.

Whether you’re already a devotee or discovering it for the first time, Daylesford is a name worth knowing. Long before farmshops became destinations in their own right, the Cotswolds business was championing organic farming, beautifully packaged produce and the idea that food, interiors and entertaining all belong together.

Now, for the first time, the brand has brought that world to Scotland, with a four day pop-up at Gleneagles Townhouse on St Andrew Square.

Step inside The Telling Rooms and you’ll find shelves lined with Daylesford’s bestselling pantry staples, from preserves and chutneys to organic olive oils, alongside floral tableware, linen tablecloths, kitchen essentials and the brand’s sought after picnic hampers. The styling recreates the relaxed elegance of the Gloucestershire farmshop, with baskets overflowing with seasonal produce and tables set for long summer lunches.

Visitors can also enjoy complimentary tastings and meet some of the producers behind Daylesford’s artisan cheeses, preserves and other favourites throughout the residency.

Founded more than 40 years ago by Carole Bamford, Daylesford has grown from a single organic farm into one of Britain’s best known food and lifestyle brands, with farmshops in the Cotswolds and London and a loyal following drawn to its focus on seasonal food, sustainable farming and beautifully crafted homeware.

The Daylesford Pop-Up Pantry is open to everyone until Saturday July 11th, from 10am to 5pm daily.
