Castle of Light Announces £10 Tickets for Spectacular Final Night
As one of Edinburgh’s most-loved winter events prepares to close for the season, Castle of Light: Fire and Ice is offering visitors a final chance to experience its magic — with special £10 tickets available for the closing night only.
Taking place on Sunday 4 January 2026, the one-night-only offer marks the end of Castle of Light’s sixth dazzling season, which has once again illuminated Edinburgh Castle with breathtaking projections, immersive soundscapes and storytelling inspired by the elemental forces of fire and ice.
Throughout the festive period, Castle of Light has transformed Scotland’s most iconic fortress into a mesmerising after-dark journey, drawing visitors from across the UK and beyond. From glowing battlements to dramatic visual installations that play across the ancient stone walls, the event has firmly cemented its place as a highlight of Edinburgh’s winter calendar.
With just a handful of dates remaining in its seven-week run, the £10 closing-night tickets offer a rare opportunity to experience the award-winning event at a significantly reduced price — and to savour one last moment of festive escapism before the season fades.
Created by a consortium of Scotland’s leading digital and visual artists in partnership with Historic Environment Scotland (HES), Castle of Light seamlessly blends cutting-edge creativity with centuries of heritage, bringing new life to the historic site after dark.
