Editor's Favourites for Autumn

This month I’m drawn to pieces that feel like keepers — products and accessories that work hard, look good and carry a little joy with them. All tried, tested and firmly in my own rotation.

This biotech-powered protector shields hair against heat up to 450°F, smooths frizz, and leaves hair stronger and shinier. I can blow-dry or tong all week for events without seeing frazzled ends — which for me is the ultimate test. 

Dr. David Jack Skin Cushion Pro-Lipid Recovery Cream, £139

My skin barrier’s best friend. This ultra-nourishing cream rebuilds with lipids, locks in hydration and instantly soothes. It’s my evening rescue leaving skin plump and cushioned. 

Albaray Houndstooth Pleated Skirt, £99

Classic houndstooth with a double-buckle twist, this pleated midi is endlessly versatile. I wear it with a chunky knit or a silk shirt, and knee high boots. The drape keeps it feminine, the pattern keeps it timeless. 

Albaray Faux Leather Bomber, £120

Khaite, YSL and Phoebe Philo all have an oversized, 80s coded leather jacket in their collections this season but if you don’t have £7k to spare we love this one. An oversized chocolate faux leather bomber that instantly pulls an outfit together. Utility pockets and epaulettes keep it practical, while the sleek finish keeps it luxe.

Charms are everywhere this season, reimagined in fine jewellery with real craftsmanship. This design pairs a diamond-set yellow gold heart with a rich red enamel heart, linked in sterling silver. Size it down and wear it on the pinkie for a modern, collectable keepsake.

Phlur has form for turning trends into something wearable and addictive, and Cherry Stem looks set to follow. Expect a sophisticated, grown-up cherry rather than a sugar hit.
