Scotland’s K-beauty obsession is about to get considerably easier to indulge. PURESEOUL Edinburgh opens at St James Quarter today at noon, marking the Korean beauty retailer’s first store in Scotland and bringing more than 2,000 products and some of Korea’s most talked-about beauty brands to the capital. We were first through the doors yesterday, ahead of the opening, and can safely say this place is set to become something of a pilgrimage site for K-beauty lovers in Edinburgh and beyond.
Alongside the biggest names in Korean skincare and beauty, there are new launches to discover and brands exclusive to PURESEOUL in the UK — plus expert skincare advice and personalised recommendations in store.
While we still can’t quite get on board with a full ten-step routine, we’re real fans of the ethos behind the K-beauty movement. It’s helped push ingredients like centella asiatica, heartleaf, rice extract and ceramides into the mainstream, alongside a broader shift towards hydration, skin barrier support and lightweight, layerable formulas.
Until now, getting properly stuck into K-beauty in Scotland has meant a lot of online research and hoping you’d ordered the right thing. Being able to pick things up, compare textures and actually talk to someone who knows their stuff makes PURESEOUL’s arrival rather more interesting than just another beauty store opening.
