Raise a Glass: Discover Arbikie Highland Rye at MOSS x Manhood

Not all whisky tastings are created equal.
At MOSS x Manhood, this is your chance to try one of Scotland’s rarest rye pours.

There’s a certain kind of conversation that only happens over a good whisky — unhurried, considered, and just a little indulgent. At the upcoming MOSS x Manhood event at St James Quarter on March 26th, that conversation comes with a distinctly Scottish twist.

A rare pour, straight from the coast

Set against the backdrop of the men’s Spring Style Edit, guests will have the chance to experience something genuinely special: a tasting from Arbikie Distillery, one of Scotland’s most forward-thinking producers.

Perched on the wind-swept Angus coastline, Arbikie is a true field-to-bottle operation. Every element — from grain to glass — is grown, harvested and distilled on the family-owned farm. It’s this deep-rooted connection to the land that allows the distillery to revive heritage crops and embrace more sustainable, climate-resilient farming methods.

The result? Whisky with a real sense of place — and purpose.

The whisky: bold, spicy, and quietly groundbreaking

At the centre of the evening is Arbikie Highland Rye, a single grain expression that holds a unique place in Scotland’s whisky story.

As the first rye whisky produced in Scotland, it breaks with tradition in all the right ways. Expect a bold, spicy profile layered with complexity — the kind of dram that invites you to slow down and really taste.

Even better, guests will be sampling from Arbikie’s rarer cask select releases, bottles that are increasingly hard to come by and rarely poured outside of specialist tastings.

More than a tasting

This isn’t just about whisky. It’s about craftsmanship, conversation, and a new perspective on Scottish distilling — all woven into an evening of style, substance and modern masculinity.

The MOSS x Manhood event brings together fashion, grooming, and expert-led moments — including Robbi Hicks, Head of Creative at MOSS, in conversation with menswear expert and Manhood Editor-at-Large, Eric Musgrave — creating a space where personal style and personal taste meet.

Don’t miss it

If you’re heading along, make time for a little Arbikie tasting. These are the kind of bottles you don’t often see — and even less often get to try.
