Craft meets cocktails aboard Fingal with Islander UK and Isle of Harris Gin on Saturday 20 September. Guided by Islander UK’s experts, you’ll design and build your own bespoke Harris Tweed® satchel, choosing from cloth, colours and straps. Fuel your creativity with perfectly mixed Isle of Harris Gin serves, celebrated for its maritime botanicals, while enjoying canapés in Fingal’s magnificent ballroom. The Art of Japanese Tea with Mio Shudo
Slow down and immerse yourself in the serene rituals of Japanese tea culture with Urasenke Tea Master Mio Shudo on Saturday 1 November. Dressed in ceremonial kimono, Mio leads a graceful performance of the traditional tea ceremony, sharing centuries-old philosophy and precision. Alongside live traditional music, Fingal’s chefs will present a Japanese-inspired afternoon tea, thoughtfully paired with handpicked teas. A cultural and culinary experience in the peaceful maritime setting of Fingal, it’s an elegant afternoon of reflection and flavour. Tickets £80.
Jekyll & Hyde: An Evening on Fingal
On Friday 7 November, Fingal pays tribute to one of Edinburgh’s most famous literary legacies. Begin the evening to the stirring sounds of the pipes before choosing your “Pick your Potion” Jekyll or Hyde cocktail, paired with gourmet canapés. A four-course menu is followed by Scottish storyteller Roger Moran bringing Robert Louis Stevenson’s Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde to life, alongside tales of the Stevenson family’s lighthouse designs. With wine pairings and atmosphere aplenty, it’s a truly decadent night. Tickets £100.
Hogmanay the Fingal Way
Ring in 2026 in style aboard Fingal’s glamorous ballroom on New Year’s Eve. With live lounge music, Champagne, and the unique spectacle of sabrage with Fingal’s ceremonial sword, the celebration builds to midnight as a piper welcomes the New Year. Guests will toast with a dram and enjoy hearty stovies as sparkling fountains mark the moment. With good company, live music and Fingal’s dazzling hospitality, it’s a Hogmanay to remember. A Royal Burns Supper
Celebrate Scotland’s national bard with an unforgettable Burns Supper experience aboard The Royal Yacht Britannia on 23 or 24 January 2026, paired with an overnight stay on Fingal. After boarding via the red carpet, enjoy a highlights tour of Britannia before sitting down to a five-course dinner in the State Dining Room, accompanied by music and the traditional Address to a Haggis.
