Liberty has gone big with its men’s advent calendar this year. Behind its 25 drawers are 29 grooming, fragrance and lifestyle treats, including 14 full-size products, with a combined value of £885.

The line-up is genuinely impressive too. There’s fragrance from D.S. & Durga, Vilhelm Parfumerie, Loewe and Liberty’s own LBTY. range; skincare from Zelens, Omorovicza, Paula’s Choice and Wildsmith; plus grooming heroes from Philip Kingsley, Marvis, Ortigia and Aromatherapy Associates. ManHood verdict: Expensive, yes, but the value is hard to argue with. One for the man who already knows his Debaser from his Acqua di Parma — or would quite like to.

There are some seriously good names inside too, including ESPA, Shiseido, Rituals, Elemis, Murdock London, Philip Kingsley and L’Occitane. Standouts include a full-size ESPA Men’s Post Shave Rescue Balm, Rituals Homme anti-perspirant, Bulldog face wash, Ruffians Matt Clay and Murdock London Sea Salt Spray, plus a 50ml Murdock London Black Tea Cologne and Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream for Men.

For the man who takes fragrance seriously, this is one of the most luxurious advent calendars of the lot. Penhaligon’s 2026 calendar contains 24 treats spanning fragrance, candles and body care, all wrapped up in packaging inspired by vintage travel trunks and the golden age of train travel.

The fragrance line-up is particularly strong, with miniature and travel-size versions of Halfeti, Endymion, The Tragedy of Lord George, Changing Constance, The Favourite, Quercus and more. There are also scented candles, body washes, lotions and hand cream, with a 30ml Halfeti Eau de Parfum and 30ml Empressa Eau de Parfum among the bigger hitters.
