A Most Colourful Collab: Clòimh & Edinburgh Boutique treen
Enjoy a pop of colour in your winter accessories courtesy of the stylish collaboration between Clòimh and treen.
Two Scottish independent fashion brands, two exclusive colours and one very good reason to embrace brighter knitwear this autumn. Edinburgh boutique treen has joined forces with Clòimh on a collaboration inspired by the colours of Scotland.
A little colour can go a long way, particularly as the days get shorter and our wardrobes begin their annual descent into darker shades.
Which makes the latest collaboration between Edinburgh boutique treen and Scottish knitwear label Clòimh rather well timed.
Founded by Cat Anderson, Stockbridge favourite treen has teamed up with Clòimh founder Hollie Mercedes Peters to introduce two exclusive colourways, Gorse and Evergreen. One a punchy, golden yellow, the other a rich, leafy green, they’re the sort of shades that can transform even the most familiar winter coat.
And rather than simply putting the new colours on the rails, the brands decided to celebrate.
Friends of treen and Clòimh gathered at the boutique for an evening of knitwear, cocktails and some particularly pleasing colour coordination. The Last Word supplied the drinks, served with generous slices of lemon, while the canapés picked up the yellow and green theme, with everything from little savoury tartlets to kiwi-topped bites.
Neighbouring A Table Floristry joined the celebrations too, with Kirsty creating hand-tied bouquets of green hydrangeas, white blooms and dark-centred sunflowers for guests to take home.
Hollie was there to celebrate the launch, wearing Clòimh knitwear herself, alongside a guest list of familiar Edinburgh faces, many sporting colourful scarves of their own.
A fitting celebration of two Scottish independents, a shared love of colour and the pleasure of getting together in person.
