Making Edinburgh Fringe Easy: Discover the Membership You’ll Want to Know About

Love the Fringe is back for 2025 – with more free tickets, insider perks and a better way to support performers

After a successful pilot year in 2024, Love the Fringe is back—and for 2025, it’s bigger, bolder, and brimming with benefits. Designed to make your Fringe experience smoother, smarter and more rewarding, this membership scheme offers everything from free tickets and local discounts to exclusive access and VIP perks—all while supporting the artists and venues that bring the magic to life.

Created in collaboration with EdFest.com, Love the Fringe helps audiences access more shows for less, while allowing performers to fill empty seats and keep more of their revenue (with EdFest box office commission held at just 3%, compared to the standard 5%).

“Value for artists, perks for the public – it shows we all Love the Fringe,” says William Burdett-Coutts, Artistic Director of Assembly.

What Is Love the Fringe?

At its heart, this is a festival-friendly membership that lets you see more shows, skip booking fees, and access exclusive offers throughout August. With over a million tickets available each week across EdFest.com venues, this is a smarter, more connected way to Fringe.

And it's not just about ticket deals – it’s about building a community of Fringe fans who want to make the most of their summer while directly supporting the creative forces behind the shows.

With feedback from 2024 calling it “a brilliant way to see more and support the artists”, it’s clear this membership is one to watch.
